The Role:

As a member of the People & Culture team at Altilium, you will play a crucial role in attracting, engaging, and retaining top talent to support our company’s mission and objectives. Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, you will ensure excellent candidate experiences whilst working on a diverse mix of roles simultaneously and candidate applications from a range of sources.

What You’ll Do:

  • Support a seamless full cycle recruitment process, from candidate attraction to on-boarding.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to determine the recruiting needs of their department.
  • Screen and shortlist CVs and applications.
  • Schedule and support with online and face to face interviews
  • Liaise with candidates on queries, offers of employment and providing feedback from interviews.
  • Organise attendance and resources for recruitment-related events.
  • Support the coordination and delivery of assessment days, as required.
  • Research talent and approach potential candidates through headhunting initiatives, proactively sourcing scarce niche skills sets of candidates where necessary.
  • Lead recruitment related and candidate experience projects.

What You’ll Bring:

  • A passion for delivering excellent candidate experiences, with a warm and friendly nature that matches Altilium’s culture.
  • Previous experience in a recruitment role within a fast-paced environment
  • Full working knowledge of the recruitment life cycle, including onboarding and right to work checks.
  • Experience in the use of an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) – bonus points for supporting the development of one.
  • Strong and clear communication skills, both written and verbal and enjoys decision making.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and remain calm under pressure.
  • Amazing organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Comfortable working in a startup environment with some ambiguity; enjoy mucking in and wearing multiple hats!
  • Ability to be regularly on-site in our Plymouth office.
