Project Manager (EV Lithium-ion Battery Recycling Retrofit)

The Role:

Altilium is a pioneering leader in sustainable and innovative recycling solutions for end-of-life electric vehicle (EV) lithium-ion batteries. Committed to environmental stewardship and technological advancement, we are embarking on a significant retrofit of our state-of-the-art SX-EW plant.

To lead this transformative project, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager who shares our vision for a greener future.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and oversee all aspects of the retrofit project for our SX-EW plant, ensuring it aligns with company goals and sustainability objectives
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and environmental experts, to ensure the successful implementation of the retrofit
  • Manage project scope, risks, and changes, proactively identifying and mitigating issues
  • Coordinate procurement, installation, and commissioning of equipment and technologies necessary for the retrofit
  • Monitor project progress, performance, and expenditures, reporting regularly to senior management and stakeholders
  • Facilitate effective communication among team members, ensuring that project objectives are clear and met
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards throughout the project
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, promoting innovation and best practices in project management
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, promoting a collaborative and results-driven work environment

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven track record in successfully managing large-scale industrial projects, preferably in the recycling or mining sector
  • Strong understanding of hydrometallurgical processes and/or battery recycling is highly desirable
  • Exceptional project planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Effective communication, leadership, and team-building skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety and environmental sustainability
