The Role:
Altilium is a pioneering leader in sustainable and innovative recycling solutions for end-of-life electric vehicle (EV) lithium-ion batteries. Committed to environmental stewardship and technological advancement, we are embarking on a significant retrofit of our state-of-the-art SX-EW plant.
To lead this transformative project, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager who shares our vision for a greener future.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and oversee all aspects of the retrofit project for our SX-EW plant, ensuring it aligns with company goals and sustainability objectives
- Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and environmental experts, to ensure the successful implementation of the retrofit
- Manage project scope, risks, and changes, proactively identifying and mitigating issues
- Coordinate procurement, installation, and commissioning of equipment and technologies necessary for the retrofit
- Monitor project progress, performance, and expenditures, reporting regularly to senior management and stakeholders
- Facilitate effective communication among team members, ensuring that project objectives are clear and met
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards throughout the project
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, promoting innovation and best practices in project management
- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, promoting a collaborative and results-driven work environment
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven track record in successfully managing large-scale industrial projects, preferably in the recycling or mining sector
- Strong understanding of hydrometallurgical processes and/or battery recycling is highly desirable
- Exceptional project planning and organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Effective communication, leadership, and team-building skills
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and environmental sustainability
