Altilium Metals Ltd subsidiary Altilitech Ltd has developed a proprietary process to recycle end-of-life electric vehicle batteries to extract rare and critical metals lithium, nickel, cobalt and manganese at a quality for reuse in cell production.

Whereas other recyclers are producing battery precursors such as nickel sulphate which require further processing with added cost and carbon emission, we are developing a cathode active material for direct reuse, with a ratio of nickel, manganese and cobalt specially tailored to a customer battery chemistry. This is combined with the optionality of processing a mixed stream of battery waste, e.g. LCO (consumer) and EV (NMC).

As a subsidiary of Enterprise Singapore, IPI provides Singapore companies with access to the latest innovative ideas and technologies. Altilium Metals and its technology has been selected as a leader in the carbon emission reduction space by IPI Singapore, supporting the race to global net zero.
